MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that Nigerian Idol Season 8 will return for an eighth season following the success of season seven (7), which saw Progress triumph. You could be well on your way to greatness if you publish a 30-second video online showcasing your talent.
Season 8 of Nigerian Idol in 2023 will debut on Sunday, April 23, and air weekly on DSTV and GOTV.
Nigerian Idol’s seventh season auditions began on Friday, January 13, and ended on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Contestants who were interested were told to record a 30-second video of themselves singing any song and upload it online. Additionally, competitors must be aged between 16 and 30.

Nigerian Idol 2023 season 8
On April 23, 2023, D’banj, Simi, and Obi Asika will make a triumphant comeback to the show as judges, joining renowned presenter IK Osakioduwa, while the BB9ja 2023 Season 8 Audition will happen on May, 2023.
This comes after the last edition’s outstanding performance, which saw Progress Chukwuyem emerge as the champion and take home a prize package worth N100 million.
